Rule 42
Formation Of Ward Committee
(1) In every ward within the area of
each Village Development Committee or Municipality the committee
comprising the following members shall be constituted :-
(a) The member of the Village Development
Committee or Municipality who has been elected
from the concerned ward to the Village
Development Committee or Municipality.

(b) Other two literate and renowned persons of the
ward nominated by the land reform team after
consulting the opinion of the peoples of the ward.
– Members
(2) If any member of the ward committee has not fulfilled his her
responsibility satisfactorily the official may repeal him/her and may
appoint any other person on that post.
